What is aypupen?
The name comes from the first two letters: Ա ayp and Բ pen. The alphabet is the starting point of Armenian culture — written by Mesrop Mashtots in 405 AD with 36 letters. Two more were added later. Aypupen carries all 38 letters, in Western Armenian pronunciation, into a modern platform.
